The Lion Distortion is a handcrafted pedal designed to offer both versatility and power. Thanks to its controls for mids and bass, the two gain stages controlled by the footswitches, three clipping options, and high-frequency management, it’s easy to shape your sound. CONTROLS

​

✔ B (BASS) – Controls the amplification or cutting of frequencies around 80 Hz, adding depth and body to the sound.

✔ M (MID) – Adjusts the cut of midrange frequencies (from 150 Hz to 2 kHz), allowing you to sculpt the sound and emphasize or reduce the midrange character.

✔ R (ROAR) – The Roar control simulates the roar of a lion, adjusting high frequencies (from 2 kHz to 30 kHz) while also affecting the output volume, creating an aggressive and biting tone.

✔ G (GAIN) – Controls the gain amplification of the signal. When set to the halfway point, the sound remains clean, while turning it up to 3 o'clock achieves a rich, crunchy overdrive typical of hard rock.

✔ II (SECOND GAIN) – Activated by the left footswitch, this control adds a second gain stage to the circuit, allowing for heavier distortions suited for Heavy Metal tones.

✔ V (VOLUME) – Controls the output level of the pedal. When fully counterclockwise, the pedal produces no sound. Turning it clockwise increases the output volume.

✔ C (CLIPPING) – Selects the clipping type for the pedal’s final stage. There are three options:

• Upwards – SILICON, for a more aggressive sound.

• Center – NO CLIPPING, for a cleaner, more natural distortion.

• Downwards – GERMANIUM, for a more compressed, vintage clipping.

✔ F (FILTER) – Adjusts the filter for midrange frequencies. When turned upwards, it softens the mids, making the tone smoother and more controlled.

✔ FOOTSWITCH RIGHT – Activates the main distortion of the pedal. When not pressed, the pedal is in true bypass mode, with no tonal alteration.

✔ FOOTSWITCH LEFT – Activates the second gain stage, increasing the distortion level for heavier tones. It can be adjusted using the II potentiometer.

✔ LED RIGHT – Indicates that the main distortion is active, lighting up when the right footswitch is pressed.

✔ LED LEFT – Indicates that the second gain stage is active, lighting up when the left footswitch is pressed.
